Free Games to Play on PlayStation Plus in September 2021

Playstation Plus subscribers receive access to at least a few free games every month, and you should be excited about September's options. As of September 7, you can download Hitman 2, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked: All You Can Eat for free. The latter of these three will be available on PlayStation 5, and the former two on PlayStation 4 or 5. Make sure that you complete your download before October 4, as this will be the last day any of the three options are available. Each of the three games is vastly different from the others, but they all offer some fun.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat

Overcooked: All You Can Eat contains all of the levels found in both Overcooked and Overcooked 2, plus some. Any lover of this co-op game franchise knows you have the option to choose from a variety of quirky characters, and this version adds on three more! There are also seven new kitchens, which are the levels that you have to play through.

Finally, the performance standards are much higher on this version of the game from the previous two in the franchise at 60 FPS and 4K resolution. Overcooked: All You Can Eat does come with a survival mode, practice features, and a regular campaign.

Hitman 2

Hitman 2 is a stealth action game in which you play as Agent 47, a master assassin. It is technically a shooter game, and your character has many different types of weaponry available, ranging from guns to household appliances. This video game is the sequel to Hitman, released in 2016.

An additional play mode exists on Hitman 2 called the sniper assassin mode for co-op gaming. The goal of Agent 47 is to take down the Shadow Client, who has a secret identity. When playing on a Playstation 5, with ownership of Hitman 3, you will receive bonus features like progress saved between the two.

Predator: Hunting Grounds

Predator: Hunting Ground is a sequel of sorts to Friday the 13th: the Game as it is only the second horror game released by Illfonic. It has a beautiful and tropical setting, similar to the "Predator" movie, which is ironic for the horror theme.

This option is a multiplayer shooter in which you play as a team, in most cases. You will either play as the Predator or as a member of a four-person team against the former. Predator: Hunting Ground is a very replayable game as there are many weapons to choose from, and you never know the role you will play.

Only Playstation Plus  subscribers have access to these three games, whether they have a PS4 or PS5. Each of the above options is exciting and entertaining and comes from a different genre, offering something for everyone. If you enjoy the party and puzzle games, consider Overcooked: All You Can Eat. For a single-player shooter with a rich story, download Hitman 2. Finally, if you enjoy team-based games that require a certain mission, you will love Predator: Hunting Ground.
