We all know Overkill from the Payday franchise and we all can all agree that Payday was a really great game. A Look at Overkill's The Walking Dead

We can honestly say that this game passes the show in leaps and bounds. As a matter of fact, the game looks like a beast onto itself with some familiar hints of the show but thankfully not.

The trailers give a really good introduction to new characters and their individual plots. We especially appreciate the realism in the clips and hope that this is carried over into the game. Unfortunately, we only get a glimpse from gameplay trailers and can hardly tell if it will transfer.

However, much like the comic book and TV series, the game is more about surviving human oppression than zombies. The TV series began to fail fans when they jumped the shark too many times. By the same token, this is where the game has a chance to do better than the TV series.

TellTale Games did a fantastic job handling this and did a great job. Nevertheless, video Games have it a little easier than a TV show.

What Fans Want

We are sure Overkill's The Walking Dead will do a fantastic job. For hardcore fans this will only be another level they can take their fandom to.We can't say a lot about the game until the full release. However, we will give a full report when released. For now, go to Overkill's Walking Dead website for current updates and Pre-orders.
