1. ANVIL: Vault Breakers – December 2

Developed by Action Square

ANVIL: Vault Breakers is a cool, sci-fi multiplayer co-op game that boasts shooter and action elements. You take on the role of a Vault Breaker seeking alien artifacts referred to as “Vaults”. Exploring the galaxy, you encounter a host of different planets and face down a variety of monsters to open the vaults and gain the power that’s within.

Nothing gets stale with this game either. During each session, more than 100 artifacts alongside numerous weapons are generated. This way, you can play around with various weaponry and combinations of weapons and artifacts to adapt your playstyle. It gives players a chance to explore something new each time they jump into the fray.

ANVIL: Vault Breakers will be available on PC.

2. Solar Ash – December 2

Developed by Heart Machine

Solar Ash is a 3D action-adventure platformer set in a science fiction world. Those who have played Hyper Light Drifter may recognize the world as it’s set in the same universe, but it isn’t a direct sequel to the previous game.

This colorful and stylized world drops players into the role of Rei as she journeys to a ravenous rift in space known as the Ultravoid. She’ll meet other lost and drifting souls while also battling her way through vast monsters trying to make sense and survive this surreal area in space.

Solar Ash will be available on PC, PS4, and PS5.

3. Happy’s Humble Burger Farm – December 3

Developed by Scythe Dev Team

Happy’s Humble Burger Farm may place you in the role of working in a restaurant, but don’t mistake this; it isn’t Cooking Mama. Happy's Humble Burger Farm gives us FNaF vibes, as the simulator game weaves in elements of horror for an unnerving bit of fun with a splash of dark humor to go with it. You can even upgrade the restaurant and play in a narrative story mode or an endless cooking mode.

In the role, players must work the overnight shift and keep things running smoothly. Don’t make any mistakes as it’ll give you an infraction. Three infractions and … well, you just don’t want to know what happens when you make the owners mad. Could this be one of the best cooking games or just a creep-fest? We will see!

Happy’s Humble Burger Farm will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One ( a Nintendo Switch release is set for early 2022)

4. Chorus – December 3

Developed by Deep Silver Fishlabs

Chorus takes players on a stunning journey in space as they take control of Nora who was previously known as one of the deadliest Circle warriors. Now a fugitive, she sets out to take down the cult that built her.

In this amazing space-combat shooter, players get to trek across a dark universe with Nora’s faithful sentient ship known as Forsaken. You’ll see a host of different environments from zero-g situations to foreboding temples. There are various abilities and weapons to unlock to help build Nora up into becoming an unstoppable killing machine.

Chorus will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

5. Halo Infinite – December 8

Developed by 343 Industries

Fans of the Halo series can eagerly jump back into the fray with Halo Infinite. The multiplayer portion is already free-to-play on PC, but the upcoming full experience has players anticipating more.

Build up a Spartan that is unique to you with incredibly deep customization options. This game also marks the return of the series’ roots in the Arena game mode with 4-player squads and on-map equipment. There’s even the epic Big Team Battle that creates an entertaining amount of mayhem to delight any player.

Halo Infinite is currently available on PC but will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

6. Startup Panic – December 8

Developed by Algo.Rocks

Here is another publication from tinyBuild. Startup Panic is the go-to casual simulation game for players that just want to sit back and build their own social media startup in the comfort of their homes. You start off from scratch with just you and your ideas with a simple platform. From there, the only place left to go is up … or is it?

You can quickly become a successful billionaire, or with the wrong kind of luck, you can find yourself going broke and losing it all.

Startup Panic will be available for PC.

7. Among Us – December 8

Developed by InnerSloth

Among Us - the famous online multiplayer PC game where betraying your friends is a common goal is finally coming to consoles. Play with up to 15 people in this always-entertaining social game where you either work to complete your tasks or you play as one of the Imposters, actively blending in while you secretly kill off the rest of the crew.

Select from a variety of customization options to dress your Crew however you wish. Don’t forget to use voice chat to make it that much more entertaining.

Among Us will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

8. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach – December 16

Developed by Steel Wool Games, Inc.

The popular family-friendly horror game series is bringing another addition with Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. Players are dropped into the role of Gregory who’s been trapped inside the Mega Pizzaplex. With Freddy Fazebear’s help, the young boy must work to survive the never-ending hunt by some of these reimagined characters.

Players have to watch out for when the nighttime protocols are initiated. The animatronics spring to life then, ready to relentlessly hunt down any and all intruders. Explore and adapt to survive, changing up your style of play to suit the situation at hand.

Five Night at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be available on PC, PS4, and PS5.

9. Trash Sailors – December 16

Developed by fluckyMachine

Trash Sailors is a cool, hand-drawn sailing simulator where you strive to create the trashiest sailing crew around. Not only can you work to trash your own friendships, but you can battle sea monsters along the way, and you do this all on a boat that’s barely holding together.

You don’t have to sail across this ocean of trash alone though. With co-op and local multiplayer capabilities, up to four players can join a crew to spread the trashy fun.

Trash Sailors will be available to play on PC with a console release coming in early 2022.

10. The Gunk – December 16

Developed by Image & Form Games

The Gunk has players leading a duo of space explorers that stumble upon an untapped planet that’s swarming with life. However, what soon becomes a simple exploration job transforms into a mystery in need of unraveling as the duo races to save the planet from the devastating gunk parasite.

In this third-person action-adventure, players will explore, gather various resources, craft, and fight to survive.

The Gunk will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Delayed Releases Galore

Besides these ten hot upcoming releases, there are a few titles that we were looking forward to in November that will be making an appearance. ICARUS, the session-based survival game for up to eight co-op players, is slated for release in December after being delayed. Additionally, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker aims to come out December 7. This offers players of the massive online multiplayer multiple updates such as a new playable race, new jobs, and new dungeons to explore.
